Copy a Slot

What this guide covers

Duplicates a slot to speed up product configuration when creating similar customisation structures.

Steps

Step 1: Navigate to the Products section using the left navigation menu.

Step 2: Click the Slots tab.

Step 3: Search for the slot you want to copy by entering the Slot Name, Slot Code, or Tag in the search field.

Step 4: Click the three-dot menu next to the slot, then select Copy.

Step 5: The copy form will appear with the original slot's information. Update the fields as needed. Fields marked with * are required.

Field	What to enter	Notes
Slot Code *	Unique identifier for the new slot	Must be different from the original
Slot Name *	Describes what customisation this slot offers	Can be the same or customized
Min Quantity	Minimum modifier selections required	0 = optional
Max Quantity	Maximum modifier selections allowed	Leave blank for unlimited

Step 6: Review all sections (Basic Information, Modifiers, Weights) and make any necessary changes.

Step 7: When you have reviewed your changes and are ready, click Create.

Notes

caution

The Slot Code must be unique. You cannot use the same code as the original slot.

tip

You can search slots by Slot Name, Slot Code, or Tag to quickly find the item you want to copy.

caution

Clicking Cancel discards all unsaved changes.
